Villa and Carriage House Haarlemmermeer

This project is all about integration: the villa, the coach house, the garden and the residents’ personalities and lifestyle. All of these stories were bundled into one, using the disciplines of architectural design, interior architecture and styling. A new approach turned all parts into one cohesive, open character full of light. The new contours created a spacious, loft-like feeling and the extensive use of glass also created an interesting connection with the coach house, making it seem separate even though it is actually attached. The outside bricks incorporated in the walls of the transparent passageway between the villa and the coach house, bring the outside in and provide an appealing result.
